Ashanti is set to drop her third album, Concrete Rose, in early December.

The lead single, "Only U," is produced by 7 Aurelius and the album will feature labelmates Ja Rule and Lloyd making guest appearances.

Concrete Rose is the follow-up to Ashanti's 2003 album Chapter II, which bowed at No. 1 on both The Billboard 200 and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. Ashanti recently appeared on Ja Rule's single "Wonderful," and appears with R. Kelly in the accompanying video.

Among the many promotional appearances scheduled will be a November 14 stint on the American Music Awards (ABC), a November 16 appearance on "Good Morning America," also on ABC.  On November 28, the Oxygen network will air a "custom concert," during which fans will be able to choose the set list.

In related news, Ashanti will make her feature film debut in "Coach Carter," which stars Samuel L. Jackson.  The Inc. singer will also star as Dorothy in ABC's "The Muppets' Wizard of Oz," scheduled to drop in May.
