Chingy, whose latest album, "Powerballin'," dropped in November, is tentatively scheduled to join rap veteran Snoop Dogg on several dates for the latter's tour, though specifics have not yet been hammered out, according to Chingy's publicist.
The former Disturbin' The Peace pop-rapper is also planning dates with Juvenile and DJ Quik as part of his 2005 tour. The trek is tentatively scheduled to kick off in January but only seven dates have been confirmed, with the first on February 2 at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
"The tour is based around me, but it will be broken up," Chingy told Billboard. "On the West Coast, I think DJ Quik will do those. East Coast, I think Juvenile will do a lot of dates with me. Snoop Dogg, I think he will be on some of the dates with Juvenile."
Snoop has 12 North American dates on tap, beginning January 2 in Atlantic City, N.J., but none of them intersect with the itinerary Chingy has announced so far.
Here are Chingy's tour dates as of press time:
Feb. 2: Myrtle Beach, S.C. (House of Blues) Feb. 5: Norfolk, Va. (NorVa) Feb. 9: Chicago (House of Blues) Feb. 17: San Diego (4th & B) Feb. 18: Anaheim, Calif. (House of Blues) Feb. 20: Las Vegas (House of Blues) Feb. 21: Los Angeles (House of Blues)
