Snoop Dogg Announces Tour Dates, Offers 'Doggy Biscuitz'   Print
Wednesday, 12 January 2005

Snoop doggFresh from his 2004 mega-hit, "Drop It Like It's Hot," Snoop Dogg has just announced his tour dates.

Kicking off January 21 in Reno, Nevada, the as-yet-untitled trek will take the Doggfather first through the American Southwest, and then to Florida where he'll perform a week's worth of shows. Then it's off to Europe, where dates in Berlin, Germany, UK, France and Amsterdam have been confirmed.

The UK dates will mark the first time in eleven years Snoop appears in that part of the world since he blessed them with the infamous ‘Doggystyle’ tour.

Snoop is also set to release his new single ‘Let’s Get Blown’ on Valentine's Day (February 14th) to coincide with the UK Manchester Apollo date.

The current itinerary runs through February 22 and will feature material from his November '04 album R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece which has already gone platinum.

Snoop, who had an extremely busy 2004, spent much of that time on the road on Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution tour in addition to a solo tour and dates with his original supergroup, 213, featuring Nate Dogg and Warren G.

In related Snoop news, the rapper recently introduced The Doggy Biscuitz line in conjunction with Pony International. The line, named for what Snoop calls his own shoes, will offer a selection of athletic, lounging, and casual styles. A limited run (5000 pairs worldwide) of the all black canvas Snoopadoopa, Biscuitz signature shoe, was released in December 2004, with additional colors planned for 2005.
