Queen of crunk-n-b, Ciara, has been named the recipient of the 2005 Sammy Davis Jr. Entertainer of the Year Award (Female) at this year's Soul Train Music Awards.
The 19 year-old singer has had major success with her debut album Goodies, which recently went Platinum and features the current hit "1, 2 Step."
Along with the Entertainer of the Year Award, Ciara also received several nominations including Best R&B/Soul or Rap New Artist, Best R&B/Soul Single (Female), and Best R&B/Soul Album (Female). The Soul Train Music Awards will air March 12.
Ciara's newest single, "Oh," features Ludacris.
"I co-wrote most of this album including "Oh," said the teen who gave up her social life to pursue a singing career.
The video clip to "Oh" will debut in the next few weeks on all major video channels.
