50 Cent has inked a deal that gives him his own show on SIRIUS Satellite Radio. The multi-platinum rapper will create and host exclusive programming on Shade 45, the new uncensored hip-hop radio channel co-produced by SIRIUS and Eminem. 50 Cent will oversee G Unit Radio, which will run all day on Saturdays and feature a mix of shows and DJs produced by his own DJ, Whoo Kid. "I'm bringing my A-game to SIRIUS," said 50 Cent. "G Unit Radio is gonna blow up on Shade 45." 50 Cent's first radio show, The Personal Preview Special, showcased songs and exclusive commentary from his new album The Massacre, due out on March 3rd. The show was co-hosted by Whoo Kid and aired Friday February 25th.

Neo-Soul hipster-genius Van Hunt is set to takeover the UK with several appearances guaranteed to satisfy his legion of fans. The PLUG Independent Music Awards recently honored Madvillain and his Madvillany set as Hip-Hop Album Of The Year. Other winners were Jean Grae  Female Artist Of The Year, RJD2's Since We Last Spoke (DJ Album Of The Year) and Danger Mouse as Record Producer of the Year. As previously reported, the awards are offered to artists that toil in the underground and are voted on by the music community. Thousands participated in the voting proccess.
