Paul Wall's The 'Champ' At No. 1   Print
Wednesday, 21 September 2005

hip-hop newsComplete with his trademark iced-out grill, Paul Wall comes out as the top contender with his first major label release, The People's Champ.  The set debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's 200 chart.

Boasting guest artists such as Three 6 Mafia, Trey Songz, Bun B, T.I., Freeway and many others, his latest work not only shows his diversity, but it also shows why he is considered one of the hardest working white men in rap - at least in the dirty south.

After going through constant transitions in record labels and going through reciprocated odds with former label mate, Chamillioanaire, Paul Wall still hasn't lost his steam when it comes to producing some of the hottest tracks from the south.  His first single, "Sittin' Sidewayz" with Big Pokey has already been ripping through radios all over the nation.

Whether pushing his services in over extravagant cosmetic dental wear or honing his skills as one of the masters of the down and dirty, the Houstonian never fails to deliver some of the best tracks.
