Slightly less than a year after Bone Thugs-N-Harmony dropped their "Greatest Hits" compilation, fans will be able to check out the chopped and screwed version of the album.
Set to drop November 1st, Bone Thugs N Harmony’s Greatest Hits: Chopped & Screwed sees Bizzy, Layzie, Krayzie, Wish Bone and Flesh-n-Bone teamed up with the guy called the "hottest screw music DJ in the game," SwishaHouse producer Michael “5000” Watts.
Responsible for hit tracks with the likes of Mike Jones, Paul Wall, and Slim Thug, Watts brings his slowed down, thick-as-molasses style to some of the Bones' best.
The double 20+track CD features “chopped and screwed” remixes of the multi-platinum group’s hottest songs titles such as "1st Of The Month," "Foe The Love of $" and the Grammy-winning "Tha Crossroads." The set also boasts several of the group’s hottest collaborations, including "Thug Luv" (featuring Tupac) and "Notorious Thugs" (featuring Notorious B.I.G.).
The group, known for their rapid-fire, hard-to-follow delivery, should prove a different listening experience when screwed.
The Thugs' last studio effort was 2002's poorly received "reunion" Thug World Order. Solo projects by members Bizzy and Krayzie, the Bone Brothers (Bizzy and Layzie), and Layzie Bone’s solo debut were released in 2004 and 2005.
